I will be featured on an episode of HGTV's program "That's Clever" sometime in 2009 making the plant stake shown on the left. "Hero" is the word they use for the finished product for the show.
I will be on episode HCLVR-532. No air date has been set yet. I will post the air date once I have it. After the show airs I will also have a page on HGTV's web site.
Footage from my That's Clever segment is also going to be used on a new HGTV program called "Design Club with Matt and Shari" that is currently being produced.
My plant stakes are constructed of copper, polymer clay and glass. Each stake is unique. No two are ever alike, though I have developed a few styles that I start with.
They are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The copper will patina if left outside in your yard. I have left them outside even in winter, in Minnesota! I have only experienced one problem. I don't think it was a weather related problem. It looked more like a squirrel chewed on the polymer clay finial.
